Glass Container Office

Contact us.

Our Task..

Our task was to build a simple glass container office.  The office is made for one 20 foot shipping container whose dimensions are 20 feet long, 8 feet wide and 8.5 feet high. Two faces of the shipping container, one 20 foot side and one 8 foot side were removed in order to place three large 21 square foot glass windows, one pair of glass french doors and one glass door.   We were asked to include closed cell, spray foam insulation in order to obtain an R value of R 21 in the walls and R 35 in the ceiling.

In order to remain in the client's budget, we were asked to leave the floors and walls unfinished and paint only the ceiling.

Glass container offices traditionally takes 3-5 weeks to complete but due to the Texas winter storm of 2020, we completed the build in 8 weeks.
